Hello offers its private broadband service for use with its Contrex hosted VoIP service. Private broadband services don’t transit the Internet and are therefore more secure, free from Internet “noise” and provide a more stable platform for VoIP transmission.
We are pleased to announce that the service is now supplemented with a range of new private and converged data products. Additionally, existing private broadband products are now available at significantly lower cost. The same great service but with more bearer options and a truly converged solution.
New services
- Bonded ADSL and bonded SDSL circuits.
- ADSL2+ available singly or bonded.
- FTTC (Fibre to the cabinet) available in 40mb/2mb and 40mb/10mb variants
Converged solutions
The FFTC and bonded ADSL/SDSL products can also be used for new converged services. By using a multiple routing configuration, voice and data packets can co-exist on the same circuit without disruption to the voice services. Voice packets are prioritised and sent directly to our core servers via a private broadband link whilst data packets are terminated to the public Internet. This provides a highly cost effective single link for all data and voice services in the converged services age. Customers who currently have costly multiple connections for voice and data services can enjoy cost savings and significant service improvements.
VPN solutions
The new services can also be used for site-to-site VPNs. Blending private voice connectivity with a company-wide VPN makes great use of the available connectivity.
All of the new services are available to service providers and resellers under Hello’s white label VoIP reseller program.
