Secure and sure. Private VoIP connectivity

December 21st, 2012

Hello launches Voicelink.  New private broadband service for all Contrex VoIP users

The case for private versus Internet connectivity for use with VoIP has been understood for some time.  The counter argument has always been based on the perceived higher cost of private connectivity.  Hello’s new Voicelink connections are priced to remove that barrier for all Contrex VoIP users.  Don’t continue to struggle with poor quality, Internet-based phone connections.

Private broadband connections from Hello boast a number of vital benefits:

  • A shorter, more secure journey path.
  • End points are not visible to the Internet.
  • Security from hackers, viruses and fraudsters.
  • No Internet “noise”.
  • 24/7 active monitoring of the circuit.
  • Accessible to Hello support engineers.
  • Redundant routing/MPLS network.
The benefits of Voicelink are now available at the same price you would expect to pay for a good quality standard Internet broadband connection so why compromise?  Available for both hosted extensions or sip trunk connections.

Hello Telecom boosts network capacity

November 7th, 2011

Nottingham based, Hello Telecom, the specialist provider of white-label hosted VoIP services, has expanded their VoIP network.   In line with their growth plans for 2012 and beyond, the company has added capacity from a further major network operator.  After a period of evaluation and testing, the new Interconnect with Kcom, went live on the 27th October.

Steve Jansky, CEO of Hello Telecom said “the addition of the new Kcom Interconnect to our existing network will add further capacity and resilience.  This will ensure that we have the correct level of services and facilities to satisfy our growing network of resellers.  We aim to become the operator of choice for resellers wishing to enter the hosted VoIP arena with their own white-label services”.

Hot Desk VoIP solution from Hello Telecom

September 22nd, 2011

Businesses often need to analyse call data on a per-user basis to improve productivity.  This can be difficult in circumstances where handsets are shared by a number of agents/users.

Mobile workers benefit from having their telecoms facilities move with them from office to office or office to home.

The hot desk solution from Hello satisfies these needs and many more besides. The solution can be deployed in a variety of ways.  At its simplest level, a login enables Users to employ all of their personal telecom facilities on any phone in their estate.  This includes their own DDI number, outbound CLI presentation number, voicemails, call recordings and call records.  Agents using shared facilities can have their own dedicated telephone identity and set of call data.

The hot desk solution is provided on Hello’s Contrex VoIP platform.  Please contact us on 0115 852 6600 for further details.

New Voice & Data Connectivity Products

June 6th, 2011

Hello offers its private broadband service for use with its Contrex hosted VoIP service.  Private broadband services don’t transit the Internet and are therefore more secure, free from Internet “noise” and provide a more stable platform for VoIP transmission.

We are pleased to announce that the service is now supplemented with a range of new private and converged data products. Additionally, existing private broadband products are now available at significantly lower cost.  The same great service but with more bearer options and a truly converged solution.

New services

  • Bonded ADSL and bonded SDSL circuits.
  • ADSL2+ available singly or bonded.
  • FTTC (Fibre to the cabinet) available in 40mb/2mb and 40mb/10mb variants

Converged solutions

The FFTC and bonded ADSL/SDSL products can also be used for new converged services.  By using a multiple routing configuration, voice and data packets can co-exist on the same circuit without disruption to the voice services.  Voice packets are prioritised and sent directly to our core servers via a private broadband link whilst data packets are terminated to the public Internet.  This provides a highly cost effective single link for all data and voice services in the converged services age.  Customers who currently have costly multiple connections for voice and data services can enjoy cost savings and significant service improvements.

VPN solutions

The new services can also be used for site-to-site VPNs.  Blending private voice connectivity with a company-wide VPN makes great use of the available connectivity.

All of the new services are available to service providers and resellers under Hello’s white label VoIP reseller program.

Hello white label VoIP reseller network expands

March 9th, 2011

Hello Telecom continues to expand the distribution of its hosted VoIP services and SIP trunks via a growing network of white label VoIP resellers.  Hello’s service allows a reseller to set up as a “Virtual Network” operator and accumulate and manage their customers and revenues securely under their own brand.

Hello’s Contrex VoIP service has also proven very popular with existing VoIP resellers wishing to migrate their customer bases to a more flexible and commercially aware provider.  Accordingly, Hello has expanded its range of approved devices to make this easier to do.  Initially focusing on Polycom and Snom handsets, the company now also supports handsets from manufacturers such as Linksys, Cisco, Mitel and Yealink.  This has enabled resellers to ensure that expensive handsets bought by their customers to support hosted SIP services can be retained and deployed for use on Hello’s network.   This makes switching an almost cost-free option for both the customer and the reseller.

Hello focuses on channel distribution with products designed to empower resellers wishing to offer own-brand services.  Existing Hello resellers comment that the company’s complete control over the development of new services makes a refreshing change from some other networks.  Added to this, the commercially attractive terms can significantly increase earnings.
